Portrait Likeness: I give great attention to every necessary detail when creating a flattering likeness. If your photos are inferior or the portrait size is drawn small, it is more difficult to achieve exact likenesses. For best results, please provide studio quality photos in 5"x7" or 8"x10" sizes. Allow me to draw the subjects at the recommended sizes. The more life-size the drawing the more life-like the portrait! I only recommend what I feel will give you the best drawing, no more, no less. |

Portrait changes in Boise area: If you are in the Boise area, you may come to my studio and view the drawing once it is completed. I will make the changes under your direction until you are satisfied. The first hour of changes is free, subsequent hours will be billed at $30/hour. Typical changes only take a few minutes. |

Portrait changes outside of Boise area: If you are not in the Boise area, I will digitally photograph your drawing or scan it and e-mail the image for you to proof. I will make changes and scan them until you are satisfied. Usually it takes about 1-2 times. If I have to make changes and scan or photograph the drawing more than twice, there will be a $10 fee for each scan, plus $30 an hour for changes. If necessary, I may request a better photo. |

Detail & Composition Policies: Details in clothing, hats, etc., are not included in the head and shoulder price. If you prefer detail in patterns of clothing to be included, you will need to mention this before the drawing is started. There will be an extra fee for this detail. If you are particular about the composition of a drawing, you will need to mention what your preferences are before the drawing is started. Typically, composition is left to the artist's judgment. Changes in composition cannot be made after the drawing is started or completed. Once you have approved and paid for a drawing the sale is final. If you or the recipient would like changes after the sale is final, I would be happy to make these changes; however, there will be a $30/hour charge, plus any shipping and postage cost, if necessary. I want everyone to be satisfied with the drawing! |

No Refunds Necessary: I do not offer refunds once a commission is started. In my ten years as a professional artist I have never had a commission rejected. |
